Early Years
Harrow Little Lions Early Years Centres offer a truly outstanding learning environment. Blending the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum of England and a strong Chinese dimension, children are inspired to develop creative thinking and teamwork competences through a dynamic, individualised curriculum that recognises every child as unique. Children at Harrow Little Lions thrive, enjoy and learn.
Set in state-of-the-art facilities, our child-centred approach ensures that every individual reaches their full potential. Children learn through structured ‘paly’; through carefully constructed experiences which expose them to new situations and new sensations.
In additions, seven areas of learning and development shape our educational programme:
- Personal social and emotional development
- Physical development
- Communication and language
- Literacy development
- Mathematics
- Understanding the world
- Expressive arts and design
These seven areas are underpinned by three characteristics of effective learning: playing and exploring; active learning; and creating and thinking critically. Delivered thematically, topics are chosen which engage the children. There is also freedom for areas of interest to be expanded as children’s curiosity is sparked.
Harrow Little Lions Early Years Centres provide children with an enjoyable and engaging start to their educational journey. Children at Harrow Little Lions thrive: academically, socially, and emotionally.
