AISL Harrow Nanning Scholarships
Through the AISL Harrow Nanning Scholarships, we recognise and celebrate students’ exceptional achievements—not only academic success, but also their passions, commitment to continual improvement, and readiness to embrace challenge. Scholars are expected to inspire others, to show initiative, and to lead within their chosen fields, sharing their love of learning, sport, and the arts while nurturing the talents of those around them.
In every respect, Scholars are expected to embody our motto: Educational Excellence for Life and Leadership.

Full and Half Scholarships
The School offers a one-year scholarship for gifted students from G7/Year 8 onwards who excel academically and beyond, in sport or the creative arts. Full and Half Scholarships recognise outstanding all-round achievement, celebrating both academic excellence and exceptional talent in the student’s chosen field.
Heads' 100% Scholarship
- Grades:G7/Y8 above
- Requirement: Excelling in academics plus other fields (Creative Arts and Sports) are eligible.
John Lyon 50% Scholarship
- Grades:G7/Y8 above
- Requirement: Excelling in academics plus one field (Creative Arts and Sports) are eligible.
10% Talent Scholarships
The School offers a unique one-year Talent Scholarship for gifted students from G1/Year 2 onwards who demonstrate exceptional achievement in the arts, sport, or leadership. Through a rigorous application and selection process, this rare honour recognises outstanding talent and commitment in the student’s chosen field.
Arts
The School seeks applicants eager to immerse themselves in its creative life. Above all, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about the arts and committed to continual improvement.
Sports
The School seeks applicants who demonstrate exceptional talent—or potential—in at least one sport, making a significant contribution to School life. This award recognises excellence in a specific sport.
Leadership
The Leadership Scholarship recognises students who demonstrate outstanding leadership through teamwork and service to the community.
Applications for awards are open to both prospective and current pupils, unless otherwise stated.
Prospective students should contact the Admissions team at admissions@harrownanning.cn for application instructions and must meet the School’s academic entrance requirements. Where demand exceeds availability, awards will be allocated based on performance in the Entrance Examinations.
Current students are expected to meet the School’s internal evaluation system (HEP).

The ASEAN Leadership Scholarships support outstanding students from across the ASEAN region who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a global outlook. Through a rich, cross-cultural learning environment, scholars benefit from the Harrow tradition, bilingual education in English and Chinese,and personalised university guidance. We prepare them for leading universities worldwide and future leadership on the global stage.
Full COVERAGE
Includes tuition, boarding, academic resources,study trips, and external exam fees, with total support of up to RMB 1.26 million (THB 5.8 million) over three years.
UNIVERSITY GUIDANCE
Provides application guidance for top global universities. In addition, the school provides personalised guidance for applying for university scholarships that offer up to 50% tuition fee coverage for students intending to study at prestigious Sino-foreign cooperative universities in China.
Eligibility Criteria
Age: ASEAN students entering G10-G12 / Y11-Y13 in September 2026.
Academic Requirements: strong English proficiency and an excellent academic record; applicants for medical-related fields should demonstrate high achievement in Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry.
Applicants cannot be enrolled at any AlSL Harrow School. They are expected to apply to universities through the A- Level pathway.
Selection Criteria
Academic Ability: The applicant must rank in the top 25% based on their overall academic performance, including transcripts, standards test scores, subject grades, and English interview.
Non-Academic Ability: Exceptional performance in areas such as sports, music, arts, or leadership and community service experience
*The scholarship will be reviewed at the end of each term,and recipients who do not meet the renewal criteria may have their remaining scholarship revoked.
