Interschool Exchange

“What does Harrow Nanning look like?”

“I heard there are a lot of foreign teachers and kind Heads!”

“I wish I can   visit there and have a look with Mom and Dad!”

Last week, 20 children from Cambridge Montessori  Kindergarten, along with their parents, visited to  Harrow Little Lions Kindergarten Nanning, to conduct an inter-school exchange.

When our children arrived at the school early in the morning, Mr Hadfield assigned them a special task – to meet and help their new partners. The children began to discuss the news cheerfully when they heard it.

It was the first time of  Little Lions met new buddies from another kindergarten, the Harrow cubs began to be restrained. Under the guidance of the teacher, the children took the initiative to introduce themselves in English and Chinese, sooner or later everyone  found their own  buddies.

“Hello!Welcome to our school!”

“Please come with me,let’s wash hands and enjoy the picnic.”

“These are my favourite food, let’s enjoy them.”

Task 1:Driving Lisence

“Attention! Everyone should  get a driver’s license, our Harrow Little Lions will help the newcomers, pass the exam!”

“Be careful,turn around 3 times.”

“Please go straight.”

Task 2:Obstacle Course

In addition to get a  driver’s license, children from Cambridge Montessori need to take the challenge of “obstacle course” This activity is one of favourite programes among Harrow Little Lions. Each pupils is full of confidence, guiding the partners to complete the task.

“Please follow me,strench your arms to keep balance.”

“Please be careful when you jump.”

“Please hold my hand,I am by your side.”

After completing two “difficult” challenges, the Heads and the teachers arranged story time for the children. The Harrow Little Lions listened to the story with their little buddies, and from time to time to explain in Chinese to their little partners where they didn’t understand in English, acting as “little translators.”
