Ms. Alvarado was awarded Masters of Arts from Université de Montréal, CA and Nottingham University ,UK respectively. She has a diverse background with much to offer, including experience working with children and teenagers from a range of cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Her professional commitment is centered on creating an atmosphere where students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, as well as psychological growth.
Ms. Li was awarded Master in Teaching Chinese as a second language from Minzu University of China and Seton Hall University. MS. Li is a highly experienced teacher who was used to perform as Chinese Language teacher in Tsinghua University Language Learning Centre and several American private schools. She was conferred honorary title of “outstanding Chinese Teacher” by Chinese teacher association.
Ms. Li holds Master in TESOL from La Trobe University, Australia. She has over 10 years teaching Experience in State-maintained Middle School and prestigious international education institutions. In her eyes, “education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”. She is an advocate for what the best for children.
Tina graduated from Worcester University. She has over 5 years teaching experience. In Tina’s opinion, teachers should be students’ friends as well as their masters. A teacher is a person knowledgeable also a good sample for students.
Luke Greaves comes from the north of England, Sheffield Yorkshire, He is entering his 8th year of teaching. He has taught in multiple backgrounds, an English grammar school, inner city under privileged school, high affluence Arab schools within Qatar and Kuwait. He has had varied roles from being a head of department and head of multiple pastoral and behavioral and attainment roles.
His passion in education is the workings of the human body, how it functions in relations to everyday interactions, how it adapts to sports and training and finally the drug interactions we can introduce into the body, studying the subtle biochemical changes expressed within a cellular level having huge effects.
Stacey holds a bachelor’s degree Education specializing in Foundation Phase and Early Childhood development. She has taught at some of the top schools in South Africa. Stacey completed a TEFL and TESOL Course, following which she taught in Thailand. She has recently been teaching in China.
Stacey is passionate and enthusiastic teacher making a positive difference in all her students lives. She looks forward to bringing her wealth of knowledge and diverse experience to the Harrow family.
Kevin graduated from University of Plymouth with honour Bachelor in Design Arts with Art History. Later he finished his study in University of York and was awarded Masters of Arts in Teaching English to Young Learners.
He has taught Art & Design, Visual Arts, Design Technology and English for 24 years in England, Singapore, China, the UAE and Brunei at all levels from KG to University Foundation. He wish he can inspire students in the field of Art & Design. To help students realise their creative potential, and to develop their appreciation of aesthetics and the influence of the Art and Art History on the world around them.
Hanneke holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Psychology and Political Science from the University of Stellenbosch, in South Africa. She continued her studies at the University of South Africa, completing her PGCE and majoring in English Studies, in 2015. Hanneke has more than 9 years teaching experience in South Africa, UAE, China, and Russia.
Hanneke is committed to creating an inclusive school and classroom where every student’s uniqueness is treasured and students are encouraged to use their own talents to contribute to teamwork. She aims to create a classroom where each child feels that he/she matters, is cared for and loved. It is important to Hanneke that each child’s individual needs are identified to help them excel in their education and she values good communication with parents.
Rodney holds the BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Development at the University of Sunderland and completed PGCE in Primary Education at the College of York St John.
After teaching P. E in schools in England since 2001, he has spent the last 8 years as Head of Primary Physical Education at 2 schools in Kuwait. He believes that high quality Physical Education has an important part to play in the holistic education of every child. Through innovative lessons, within stimulating environments, every single child can enjoy a lifelong love of sport, and obtain all of the associated benefits.
