2023 Winter Concert

The countdown to 2023 is on.

The sound of music comes with joy and blessing

The partners of the Harrow Nanning Education Community have come together.

Another year of celebrating winter with music and welcoming the New Year together.

The 2023 Harrow Nanning Winter Concert was held.

Let’s take a look back at the highlights of the concert!

Live Show

The band started their performance in the lobby to welcome the audience. As the name Free Soul Band suggests, the band’s soaring music represents the free and uninhibited soul, and their performance of several popular songs made the audience stop and sing along with the Harrow Nanning band players. The atmosphere was electric even before the concert began!

Instrumental Solos

Three Upper School students performed classical guitar and piano solos. The sound echoed in the auditorium and everyone listened to the beautiful music with bated breath.

Ensemble

The senior and junior string orchestras also performed on stage. The violin and cello played well together, the full-bodied sound of the cello and the agile and noble sound of the violin forming a harmonious score. Music teacher Mr Lucchi also had a special role as the piano accompanist, and Ivy and Dora, the two players, performed classic songs from the film Howl’s Moving Castle. The school band also returned to the stage to play a minuet.

Choir

The Winter Concert was a musical event for everyone at Harrow Nanning, with every student taking to the stage in year groups to perform a chorus. A bright and lovely smiling face and a joyful song from the heart connected the stage with the off-stage, immersed in a harmonious and beautiful musical atmosphere. As the final performance, the Staff Choir received the warmest applause from the students!

We have witnessed the progress of our students and are grateful to all the hard-working staff on and off stage.
